28TH JAN: Little Egret on R Mimram, seen from B1000 opposite Warrengate Farm at c1145

27TH JAN: 2 Little Egrets at Great Gaddesden, on R Gade between Hudnall Farm & Braddens Lane, till 1230 at least....3 Green Sands (on northernmost pit), 40+ Siskin at Tyttenhanger, also many Lapwing....Green Sand on R Lea at East Hyde, also C Buzzard over....male Stonechat west of Hatfield Garden Village....female Reed Bunt in a Tring garden

26TH JAN: 2 Little Egrets on wooded island in Stockers Lake, viewable frmo causeway, also 10 Goosanders....18 Lesser Redpoll in a Sherrards Wood garden

24TH JAN: 10 Brambling in a Horns Mill garden

23RD JAN: 2 Little Egrets flew in to Amwell at dusk (prob from Kings Mead), also 4 Smew but no sign of Iceland Gull....11 Brambling in a Horns Mill garden
