Join the Herts Bird Club?
If you want to:
You need the Herts Bird Club!
The only county-wide organisation for birdwatchers
As a member of the Herts Bird Club you receive:
The report contains full details of all species recorded in Hertfordshire in the year plus papers on birds new to the county, recent survey work and many other subjects.
A summary of recent sighting together with news, comments and articles of interest such as sites to visit and foreign trip reports.
Held in February or March each year, in association with the BTO, this provides a forum for discussion on matters of local and national interest in addition to presentations from expert speakers.
The club runs a busy programme of survey work and all members are welcome to participate. Examples are the breeding birds atlas and ongoing projects include surveys of important bird sites and breeding Lapwings.
If your interests extend to other areas of natural history you may attend any of the meetings held by the society covering areas such as insects, fungi and flora. A supplement of £4 entitles you to a copy of the annual HNHS Transactions.
| Membership to the Bird Club is £12, £18 if you wish to have full membership of the Hertfordshire Natural History Society. To join, simply printout and complete the coupon here and send it with your cheque (payable to Hertfordshire Natural History Society) to: |
